It’s adventure for conservation education! Come and raise awareness in the community about wildlife
poaching, get a bit of culture, history, exercise and fun and travel the country on a bicycling adventure!
Who’s involved? Communities living close to protected areas, tourists and volunteers who have a
passion for conservation and wish to raise awareness against wildlife poaching and wildlife trafficking.
This will focus attention on increased illegal animal trafficking, especially of rhinos and elephants. The
participants are registered at the village office before the tour ride commences, and get two days
training in wildlife conservation, the impact of wildlife poaching, the advantage of tourism to National
income and the current health of elephant and rhino populations. This is an opportunity for both men
and women to participate in this tournament.
Participants are provided with a T-shirt with an anti- poaching message to be used during the
tournament events and get certificates for participation.
